  so i'm sitting here having coffee and i hear a very distinguishable sound out on my deck.

  i looked out and this is what i saw.

  i know they are around but i've never seen one come so close to the house before!

  Good manners and curse words

  one of the comments i have heard many times is what good manners i display.

  i open doors, allow others to cut in line ahead of me, say please, thank you and may i all the time, stand for a lady and many other simple little and often goofy actions that seem to have been lost on the current generation.

  in fact the thing that attracted my present girlfriend was her observation of my good manners.

  It's part of being human I think. It's like belching or passing gas....not always appropriate but it sure makes you feel better!

  As for me, I've started to pick up a few choice words in other languages...it breaks up the monotony.

  The father of the bro I was dating was an elder and very strict. He said that we couldn't go in F.S. together unless there was a car group of 5 people....car groups are made up of FOUR!

  i have seen so many stories here that invoke guilt and shame on innocents, what one important momyumental thing would you have changed if you had it to do over?.

  well, my topic says it all.

  i am a 28yr old female.

  i am currently training for the police academy and would like to join the reserves by the time i'm 30, no later.

  I didn't know the thing about the antidepressants. I was on them for almost two years after leaving the jws. I'll have to talk with a recruiter about all of this. Thanks you guys!

  there are some that seem to have been bothered by the meddlesome elders and their constant inquiries.

  I got df'd in Feb 2002 and haven't been contacted by a single elder. My dad is an elder and he doesn't even call me to invite me to the Memorial! I'm not complaining, but it would be nice if they even faked missing me.
